Job summary

All American Assisted Living at Wareham is seeking a dining service team member to create a welcoming dining experience for residents. You will greet residents, take orders, serve meals and beverages, and help keep the dining room clean and organized in a supportive, indoor setting.

This role focuses on compassionate service to older adults, collaboration with staff, and reliable attendance during shifts in a climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents warmly and provide friendly, attentive service.

• Assist in the dish room, including operating the dishwasher.
• Safely store and return walkers and other mobility devices.
• Attend required meetings and in-service training.

What You'll Do

• Greet residents warmly and provide friendly, attentive service
• Set and prepare dining room tables before meals
• Help residents find comfortable seating
• Take meal and beverage orders
• Explain available menu options when needed
• Serve meals, beverages, desserts, coffee and tea
• Refill water and offer additional servings
• Clear and reset tables between meals
• Help keep the dining room clean, organized and welcoming
• Assist in the dish room, including operating the dishwasher and putting away clean dishes
• Safely store and return walkers and other mobility devices
• Attend required meetings and in-service training
• Work cooperatively with residents, families, visitors and coworkers
• Complete other dining service duties as assigned
