The Palace Group in Coral Gables, FL seeks a Dining Room Manager for its Palace Renaissance & Royale Assisted Living & Catered Living Community. The role focuses on planning, directing, and coordinating dining room operations, bar service, staff training, and inventory control to uphold the community’s hospitality standards.

Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, experience in food service, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent (GED).
• Experience in food service and in supervising dining room staff.
• Ability to speak, read & write English with good comprehension. Spanish preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of restaurant service; health, sanitation and safety requirements.

Responsabilités

• Schedule and supervise dining room waiters and waitresses.
• Assist with orientation and training of new waiters and waitresses.
• Maintain standards for safety, sanitation, storage of food supplies and banquet supplies.
• Interact courteously and tactfully with managers, coworkers, customers, vendors, residents and resident family members.
• Promote and execute our culture of “Yes”.
