Job summary

Q39 Overland Park is seeking a part-time Busser to support front-of-house operations and ensure a clean, well-stocked dining area. You will assist servers and bartenders, clear tables, and help maintain cleanliness to deliver a great guest experience.

The role requires physical stamina and attention to detail in a fast-paced dining environment, with a focus on teamwork and swift service for guests in Overland Park, KS.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, and transport dishes and equipment.
• Positive team player who communicates effectively.

Responsibilities

• Clear and sanitize tables and chairs promptly after guest departure.
• Reset tables with proper silverware, set ups and neatly align chairs.
• Support bartenders by monitoring and assisting with clearing when needed.
• Support servers by communicating guest needs and relaying messages.
• Ensure cleanliness of restaurant floors and public area by regularly sweeping and promptly addressing spills.
• Use gloves and approved sanitizing solutions according to health and safety guidelines.
• Perform assigned side work and prepare station for shift changes.
• Conduct hourly restroom checks and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming exterior by removing trash, debris, and cigarette butts from the parking lot and surrounding entryways.
• Collaborate with the FOH team to create a seamless and excellent guest experience.
