Job summary

Black Bear Diner Hayward is looking for a team member to greet guests in a friendly, family-oriented manner and to help maintain a clean, welcoming dining room. You will support servers, bussing and resetting tables, and ensuring overall cleanliness of all dining areas.

Responsibilities include cleaning duties, coordinating seating with hosts, restocking supplies, and providing beverage support when needed. Must be punctual, wear the proper uniform, and be prepared to work overtime when required.

Qualifications

• Punctuality to start shifts.
• Wear the specified Black Bear Diner uniform and name badge.
• Use radio headset to communicate during shifts.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
• Be a team player and assist other staff as needed.
• Assist guests and support servers to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bussing and resetting tables, and ensuring cleanliness of dining areas.
• Clean windows, ledges, bathrooms, and service stations; restock supplies.
• Coordinate seating with Hosts for efficient dining flow.
• Make beverage runs and assist with beverage dispensers.
