Job summary

Black Bear Diners is seeking a Server Support Team member to ensure guests have a positive and friendly experience. You will greet guests, seat them thoughtfully, and manage takeout orders while assisting servers throughout service.

Ideal candidates maintain composure in busy moments, communicate clearly, and uphold cleanliness standards across the entrance and dining areas. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival.
• Seat guests based on preferences and waitlist balance.
• Take takeout orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Process payments accurately and close checks.
• Thank guests and invite them to return.
• Maintain cleanliness of entrance, lobby, dining area, and restrooms.
• Assist servers and restock service stations as needed.
• Perform shift side work and be flexible for coverage.
