Job summary

Asbury Solomons is seeking a friendly dining associate to serve meals to residents in a timely, courteous manner and help maintain a welcoming dining room atmosphere.

In this full-time role you will follow POS procedures, take and deliver orders accurately, coordinate with supervisors and teammates for smooth service, ensure dining areas are prepared, and deliver items to residents as needed; generous benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Serving and/or kitchen/food experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves meals timely, ensuring hot food remains hot and cold food remains cold and customers are satisfied.
• Follows POS system procedures when taking and serving orders to ensure accuracy.
• Appropriately follows directions of supervisors to ensure quality teamwork and smooth service.
• Ensures dining room and service stations are ready prior to opening for the meal period.
• Delivers items to residents as needed or upon request.

Hours and Pay

• Full Time, 40 hours weekly
• 11:00am-7:30pm
• Every other weekend & holiday required
• $17.00/hour

Job Description

• Serves meals timely, which includes: following proper procedures (so hot food remains hot/cold food remains cold), and ensuring customers are satisfied.
• Follows POS system accurately when taking and serving orders so that the correct meal order is served to each and every customer.
• Appropriately follows direction of supervisors to ensure quality team work and smooth delivery of service.
• Ensures dining room and service stations are ready prior to opening for the meal period.
• Delivers items to residents as needed or upon request.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
