Job summary

The Las Olas Company / Riverside Hotel is seeking a server for its Food & Beverage department. The role involves greeting guests quickly, presenting menus, taking and relaying orders, serving courses, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout service.

Responsibilities include handling checks for accounting, maintaining a clean dining area, and performing closing duties as directed by the Outlet Manager. The position requires ability to stand and move frequently, with no drug-free workplace

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge guests within 90 seconds of seating.
• Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service.
• Take order promptly and relay orders to kitchen and service bars as needed.
• Serve courses from kitchen and service bars using correct service procedures.
• Observe diners to attend to additional requests and determine when meal is completed.
• Settle guest checks and turn in all checks at end of shift with a report for Accounting.
• Set up dining room with clean and polished equipment.
• Maintain a presentable and fully stocked section throughout the dining period.
• Complete all closing duties, including proper breakdown of dining room.
