Wellspring Skilled Nursing & Rehab in Fairview, MI, seeks a full-time Dining Services Cook. You will prepare nutritious meals, follow therapeutic diets, and ensure safety and quality while serving residents with care and hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

You'll work alongside a dedicated team to ensure meals are prepared safely, served with pride, and tailored to meet the individual dietary needs of each resident.Whether you're preparing a resident's favorite soup, accommodating a therapeutic diet, or ensuring a meal is presented with care, your work will have a direct impact on someone's day.Most importantly, you'll help create a dining experience that makes residents feel valued, respected, and at home.What Your Impact Will Look LikeYou'll prepare nutritious, appetizing meals that support resident health, recovery, and overall well-being.You'll carefully prepare therapeutic and modified-texture diets to ensure every resident receives meals that are both safe and enjoyable.You'll take pride in following recipes, menus, and food safety standards while maintaining the highest quality possible.You'll work closely with fellow dining services team members to ensure meals are prepared and served on time and according to resident preferences whenever possible.You'll help maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment that supports safety, infection prevention, and excellent dining services.You'll recognize that every meal you prepare contributes to a resident's comfort, health, and quality of life.Some days you'll be preparing breakfast for residents beginning their day.
