Job summary
Pepi Companies is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead and develop the kitchen team, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient operations across our dining centers. You will hire, train, and coach Pepi staff to embody our culture and standards while maintaining strict HACCP and sanitation practices.
You will oversee purchasing, portion control, and inventory, while developing menu plans and digital communications for customers.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
- ServSafe or equivalent Food Safety Manager Certification.
- At least 3 years of progressive food-service management experience.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, safety, and sanitation.
- Proficiency with MS Office and internal software.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop kitchen staff with accountability for actions.
- Hire, train, and coach Pepi team to reflect Pepi culture.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, portion control, and food quality.
- Manage purchasing, recipe adherence, inventory, and cost controls.
- Develop menu plans and digital communications to customers.
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
