Job summary

Orchid Orthopedic Solutions in Oregon City, OR is seeking a QC Inspector, Dimensional, to perform dimensional inspection on wax, ceramic, or metal parts across manufacturing stages. You will use precision tools, read blueprints, and document results to ensure compliance with customer specs and ISO/QMS requirements.

Role requires a high school diploma, attention to detail, and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior work experience required; background in a scientific field or quality inspection preferred.
• Experience in quality inspection and lean manufacturing preferred.
• Candidates may be required to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screening based on position requirements

Responsibilities

• Use blueprints, surface plates and other precision measuring equipment to inspect wax, ceramic or metal parts according to specifications.
• Complete written reports to record inspection results.
• Ensure compliance to Orchid requirements in inspection and record keeping.
• Conduct First Article Inspections and in-process/ final inspections per customer requirements.
• Train inspection personnel and support quality and compliance per QMS.
