Job summary

LA28 is hiring a senior security leader to design and oversee dignitary protection operations for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles. Reporting to the Senior Director, Public Safety, you will coordinate with federal, state, and local partners to protect VIPs, IPPs, and delegations, shaping plans from the ground up.

You will lead multi-agency collaborations, develop protective concepts, conduct risk assessments, and ensure safe, discreet visits and venue movements during Games-time.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in dignitary protection or major event security.
• Strong understanding of NSSE operations and multi-agency frameworks.
• Experience coordinating with federal, state, and local agencies.
• Ability to develop operational plans and conduct risk assessments.
• Excellent communication and leadership of cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead liaison with agencies on dignitary, VIP, and IPP security operations.
• Develop CONOPS, SOPs, threat assessments, and contingency plans.
• Plan secure arrivals, motorcades, and transfers across venues.
• Build protective perimeters, access control, dignitary routes, and emergency procedures.
• Train teams and coordinate Games-time with Protocol.
