LA28 is pursuing a strategic security leadership role to design the end-to-end Arrivals and Departures security model for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles. The Manager will coordinate with airport operations, federal partners, and LA28 teams to ensure safe, efficient athlete and official movements.

The role demands five+ years in security planning or operations, with airport or large-scale event experience, and strong written briefs and risk escalation abilities.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years in security planning, security operations, transportation or airport security, logistics security, or public safety coordination.
• Experience defining screening and access control requirements for people, baggage, and vehicles in a high-tempo operational environment.
• Experience coordinating security interfaces with airport operations, federal agencies, and public safety partners.
• Strong writing skills for security concepts, decision logs, and briefing materials, with clear escalation of risks.
• Experience working in or with airport environments, strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting major events or multi-venue operations.
• Experience with transportation hubs or large logistics networks.
• Knowledge of National Special Security Event planning.
• Experience with large-scale public-facing operations.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain the security component of the Arrivals and Departures Concept of Operations and its end-to-end security model.
• Develop the Security Interface Plan for LAX and other Points of Entry with airport operations, Public Safety partners, and federal agencies.
• Translate LA28 Security and applicable NSSE requirements into a practical person, baggage, and vehicle screening model for movements.
• Define the controlled movement framework and a single baggage security and chain-of-custody framework with partner functional areas.
• Draft planning documents, decision logs, and issue trackers, escalates risks, and support the transition to Games-time operations.
