Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Houston to improve and support Configure to Order processes for multiple products. In-office presence is required with night shifts on a hybrid schedule.

Engineering Manager reports to this role. You will implement ECOs/DEVs, support NPI, and collaborate with IT to develop and maintain the SFC system, while creating BOMs and providing configuration training to Production and QA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Associates degree required.
• Min. 2 years’ experience in manufacturing environment – CTO and/or system integration experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills are a requirement, since customer interaction will be needed.

Responsibilities

• Implement ECOs/DEVs and prepare/maintain appropriate documentation (SOPs, rework instructions, etc.).
• Support NPI process and provide DFX analysis.
• Work with IT in helping to develop and maintain the SFC system.
• Provide/define process requirements to related team members.
• Provide product configuration training to Production and QA departments.
• Create/maintain BOMs for configuration management.
• Support customer requests and assist with tours/audits of the production line.
