Job summary

Merck & Co. seeks a Global Clinical Supplies Digital Transformation Leader to own strategy and execution of the GCS digital roadmap. You will lead high-priority digital initiatives, align matrixed teams, and drive adoption while ensuring GxP compliance and SDLC delivery.

You will influence stakeholders across business and IT, manage change, and track KPIs to demonstrate ROI in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive pharma/regulatory experience.
• Minimum of 5 years leading major technology implementations or digital transformation initiatives in clinical supply chain.
• Strong track record delivering complex digital projects using Agile/Scrum or waterfall methodologies.
• Understanding of ERP systems (SAP), RTSM/IRT systems, or advanced data platforms is highly preferred.
• Proven capability to influence and manage cross-functional stakeholders across business and IT without direct line authority.
• Strong understanding of GxP, CSV practices, and pharmaceutical data privacy standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of high-priority digital initiatives defined within the GCS digital roadmap.
• Drive project delivery from business-case development through implementation and hypercare.
• Orchestrate matrixed teams comprising GCS business experts, IT partners, data scientists, and external vendors.
• Coordinate change impact assessments and end-user adoption strategy with stakeholders.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for assigned digital projects to measure adoption, efficiency gains, and ROI.
• Ensure GCS owned systems comply with relevant GxP requirements and contribute to SDLC deliverables.
