Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biological Sciences, Health Care, Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
• 12+ years in Clinical Data Management and/or Clinical Operations.
• 5+ years in a management position.
• 5+ years with DHT, COA and/or IRT.

Responsibilities

• Directs all data management support activities within their functional area across studies and non-project work.
• Develops strategic plans and forecasts resource needs to support organizational goals.
• Oversees vendor governance and QMS to ensure high-quality outcomes for stakeholders.
• Leads KPIs and onboarding plans for vendors, with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentors and develops career plans for direct reports and fosters growth.
• Provides coaching, feedback, and rewards to drive performance and retention.
• Advises internal and external clients on data management activities and SOPs for regulatory compliance.
• Directs SOP development and maintains global regulatory compliance for data management activities.
• May lead data management system selection and improve processes with GDMS alignment.
• Keeps abreast of data management developments to guide tool selection and maintenance.
