Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) is offering a hybrid internship in Detroit for students and recent grads pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence. You will work on IT and data initiatives, assist with AI agent prototyping, and support project documentation and cross-functional collaboration.

Eligible candidates should have strong analytical and communication skills, experience with data visualization (Power BI), and familiarity with SQL/Oracle.

Competenze

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program or higher or have graduated within 1 year (May/June).
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to support data-driven decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to explain issues clearly.
• Experience with data visualization (Power BI preferred).
• Familiarity with SQL and/or Oracle databases; basic automation concepts (Power Automate).
• Understanding of AI/LLM fundamentals and responsible AI considerations.

Mansioni

• Support end-to-end IT and data initiatives by gathering user requirements and mapping workflows.
• Assist with AI agent prototyping and build support, including prompt design and tooling patterns.
• Help with evaluation of multiple LLM platforms and test plans for accuracy and consistency.
• Contribute to project documentation and knowledge management, including data flows and SOPs.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, data engineers, and business partners on planning and delivery.
• Provide IT service management support including triage and ticket routing.
• Foster an inclusive, welcoming workplace culture.
