Job summary

The Fortune Society is seeking a Digital Equity Trainer to deliver digital skills training to formerly incarcerated individuals, adapting curricula to meet learners’ needs. You will work with the Employment Services team to support reentry, employment, and personal empowerment.

You will develop materials, facilitate in-person and online sessions, and monitor attendance and progress in a case management system. A related degree and 1–2 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT/education or related field.
• 1–2 years teaching or training in correctional or reentry programs preferred.
• Strong digital literacy and ability to explain tech concepts to non‑technical participants.
• Excellent communication with diverse participants and staff.
• Proven interdepartmental liaison and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver digital skills training in person and online.
• Develop and update training materials and curricula.
• Facilitate engaging, interdisciplinary workshops and activities.
• Monitor attendance and progress in the case management system.
• Attend meetings with Employment Services and Digital Equity teams to improve programs.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and coaching.
