Job summary

Corewell Health is offering a part-time hybrid winter internship (20 hours/week) for 14 weeks in Grand Rapids, MI. You will learn the Workday ERP system and how data flows across HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, Legal/Risk/Compliance, and Learning Management.

You will observe SDLC methodologies for data flow between systems of record and contribute to team projects while supporting day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree
• May also be a recent graduate from an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program.

Job description

This is a part time (20 hours/week), 14-week hybrid winter internship that will occur during one of the below time frames: January 11 – April 16, 2027 January 19 – April 23, 2027 Open to hiring candidates that reside anywhere near our three primary regions: West (Grand Rapids) East (Southfield) South (St. Joseph)

Job Summary

In this internship, you will learn about the organization's ERP system, Workday, and its typical business functions and data supporting Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, Legal/Risk/Compliance, and Learning Management. You will learn how the team applies Software Development Lifecycle methodologies for data flow between various systems of record.

Essential Functions

Maintains accountability for completing support tasks as directed. Maintains clear and appropriate documentation of actions taken. May analyze department processes and other Corewell Health systems encountered and makes recommendations improvements, as appropriate. Participates in quality monitoring activities/process improvement activities. Communicates, collaborates, and acts as a team player with others in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services.

High School Diploma or equivalent Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in area of accountability. May also be a recent graduate from an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program.
