Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a collaborative Resource Librarian to drive digital library strategy and deliver exceptional service across offices. You will manage print and digital resources, lead training on research tools and AI, and explore new technologies to improve research efficiency.
The role emphasizes collaboration with attorneys and staff, leveraging AI within firm guidelines, and supporting Knowledge & Innovation initiatives while maintaining high standards of information
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Library or Information Science from an ALA-accredited program.
- At least one year of professional library work experience preferred.
- Familiarity with legal and business information sources.
- Proficiency with AI concepts and chatbots; willingness to learn new tools.
Responsabilités
- Resource management: manage acquisition, cataloging, processing of print and digital resources and optimize workflows.
- Training & outreach: deliver training on digital resources, research tools, and AI.
- Technology & innovation: explore new technologies to improve research efficiency and knowledge access.
- Research & analysis: perform entry-level legal and business research and deliver concise findings.
- Collaboration & growth: partner with attorneys and staff and support departmental projects.
