Job summary

Indiana University’s Institute for Advanced Study invites applications for a Program Management Specialist to lead the Digital Research Initiative. The role collaborates with the IAS Team to support research, scholarly development, and program operations at IU Bloomington.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years in a related field, with a Master's preferred. It is an in-person, on-site role with competitive benefits and salary in the IU system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 2 years in a related field are required.

• Experience with digital scholarship and research environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of research programs or projects.
• Develop timelines and track milestones to ensure deliverables are completed.
• Maintain compliance documentation (IRB, protocols) as needed.
• Track budgets and support financial reporting; identify variances.
• Serve as liaison between investigators, staff and external partners.
• Collect and analyze program data; prepare reports for leadership and sponsors.
• Identify operational challenges and implement process improvements.
