Job summary

Moderna is seeking a Product Manager to partner with scientists, translate workflows into scalable digital solutions (Benchling and AI-enabled tools), and own end-to-end delivery from discovery to rollout.

You will work with proprietary platforms, helping ensure data modeling, integration, and adoption while upholding internal standards and long-term data strategy. The role reports to a Principal Product Manager in Moderna’s Digital organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a life sciences, informatics, or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in pharma, biotech, informatics, or product-adjacent role.
• Hands-on experience using or administering Benchling and integrating it with secondary apps.

Responsibilities

• Partner with scientific teams to understand software use cases and support business needs.
• Capture requirements and present for review, balancing team needs with platform standards.
• Lead requirements gathering and design workshops translating workflows into data models and user stories.
• Manage and prioritize product backlog balancing scientific needs, value, and constraints.
• Define and drive integration strategies across internal systems for seamless data flow.
