Job summary

Moderna seeks a Senior Data Product Manager to own data products and AI use cases across the CMC organization. You will translate operational challenges into governed data products with clear ownership, measurable value, and a path to adoption, collaborating with domain SMEs and engineers.

You’ll define end-to-end data products, set governance, and drive production readiness while enabling scalable data and AI solutions across Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, CS, Life Sciences, Data Science, or related field.
• 4+ years in pharma/biotech with exposure to CMC.
• 6+ years delivering data analytics or digital solutions in production workflows.
• Familiarity with data concepts, modeling, data platforms.
• Knowledge of systems like Veeva, SAP, MES, LIMS.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements for engineers.
• Experience with data governance, ownership, access control, quality standards.
• Understanding of GxP and compliance for data, analytics, AI.

Responsibilities

• Own prioritization and sequencing of data products and AI use cases grounded in business value.
• Define data products end-to-end, from use case to production with SLAs and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure data products have ownership, classification, access, and lineage per governance framework.
• Make data products production-ready and operationally viable.
• Define data quality, validation, and traceability for GxP compliance.
• Drive adoption by measuring usage and iterating for sustained value.
• Collaborate with engineering for testing, monitoring, lifecycle management.
• Coordinate across data engineering, platform, analytics, and business teams.
