Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an Electrical Engineer to perform duties at a work center with an emphasis on communications products. The primary work product is the complete digital design of a PCB (Printed Wiring Board) from inception through layout and assembly.

Responsibilities will also include test and troubleshooting. You will work with a Digital Design team to generate schematics, partner with ECAD designers for PWB/CCA fabrication databases, and collaborate with cross‑functional

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field.
• Experience with schematic capture and BOM/PL creation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience with bench testing and lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design and update schematics for PCB from inception through layout and assembly.
• Collaborate with ECAD designers to deliver detailed databases and documentation for PWB/CCA fabrication.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering disciplines to ensure design robustness and producibility.
• Perform/support Design Verification and Troubleshooting; produce design documentation.
