Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking a Digital Pathology Coordinator to support the Department of Pathology’s Digital Pathology scanning enterprise. You will prepare slide metadata, coordinate scanning with multiple stakeholders, and ensure data integrity for patient care.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate’s Degree and at least one year in administrative, healthcare, or science settings, with proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required with at least one year of administrative, healthcare or science-based experience.
• Experience with computer systems and web-based applications including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collate slides for scanning and organize workflow in a timely manner.
• Coordinate activities with attending physicians, scientists, residents and administrative staff.
• Perform pre-analytic review of slides for scanning and quality control of barcodes.
