Job summary

Escalate Technologies, LLC is seeking a Media Specialists I to support the Virtual Technical Library (VTL) of the Military Sealift Command (MSC). The role engages in imaging, digitization, and records management to ensure timely access to technical information for Government personnel.

The position requires an Active Secret clearance, high school diploma or GED, and the ability to travel up to 20%. Work may occur at naval facilities, shipyards, and aboard MSC or Navy vessels.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience organizing, processing, filing, tracking, or retrieving records.
• Ability to operate scanners, computers, copiers, and standard office equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and in a Government/contractor environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, including CONUS and OCONUS environments.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operation and maintenance of Government technical library collections in electronic and physical formats.
• Receive, organize, file, track, distribute, and inventory technical publications and drawings.
• Scan and digitize technical documents and historical records.
• Review scanned files for image quality and proper indexing.
• Enter metadata and maintain electronic files and records management systems.
• Assist with storage, retrieval, retention, and protection of government records.
• Organize digital media collections and provide multimedia support.
