Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Newport, RI is seeking a Media Specialist I to operate and maintain the Media Center, MCU, and VTC systems for both classified and unclassified events. The role focuses on delivering staged AV services and ensuring robust communications across locations.

Candidates should have audiovisual/VTC operations experience and the SECNAV M-5239.2 certifications to support secure networks. This is a full-time, on-site position in Newport, supporting command events.

Scope of Work:

Provides Media Center and audiovisual support, operating and maintaining VTC studios, conference rooms, and DVS-G facilities for classified and unclassified events.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Operate and maintain Media Center facilities, MCU, and VTC systems
• Provide staged audio and visual services for command events
• Perform daily operational verification testing of Media Center systems
• Support setup of VTC communications over ISDN, IP, and DISA networks

Qualifications:

• Minimum education, years of experience, and skills in accordance with the NUWCDIVNPT labor category description for this position and level.
• Audiovisual and VTC operations skills
• Personnel supporting the classified and unclassified network infrastructure must hold the certifications required to support the systems in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2
