Job summary

Marick Mechanical, an Orion Services Group company in Omaha, NE, seeks a Marketing Specialist to own day-to-day marketing initiatives, manage external vendors, optimize SEO, and maintain accurate website content that supports HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing services.

You will translate business priorities into actionable campaigns, monitor performance, and ensure projects stay on budget and aligned with brand standards while collaborating with leaders and partners.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in marketing coordination, digital marketing, website management, or a related role.
• Practical knowledge of SEO concepts, website content management systems, analytics, and digital marketing performance metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate vendors, manage project timelines, evaluate deliverables, and communicate priorities.
• Strong copyediting, organizational, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, exercise discretion in prioritizing marketing initiatives, and make informed recommendations within established budgets and brand guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for external marketing agencies and vendors.
• Define project briefs, scopes, milestones, and performance expectations; coordinate reviews with internal stakeholders.
• Evaluate vendor work for quality, brand consistency, timeliness, and business value; request revisions as needed.
• Track marketing project schedules and budgets; flag changes for approval before commitments.
• Maintain a centralized marketing calendar and organized records of campaigns, assets, and agreements.
• Coordinate SEO initiatives, keyword targeting, and local search improvements.
• Partner with SEO vendors to review rankings, traffic, and lead-generation performance.
• Maintain accurate business information across search listings and profiles.
• Assess SEO recommendations and prioritize improvements by impact and resources.
• Identify content gaps and opportunities to improve visibility across HVAC/mechanical, refrigeration, and plumbing offerings.
• Own routine maintenance and accuracy of the company website, coordinating updates with vendors.
• Publish, edit, and quality-check service pages, location pages, news, staff information, and CTAs.
• Monitor site functionality, mobile usability, accessibility, and lead-routing issues.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, and leaders to validate technical accuracy of services and markets.
