Job summary

University Health is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Corporate Communications & Experience Department. You will lead email campaigns, newsletters, SMS outreach, and website content to engage patients, communities, and stakeholders.

Working with the Digital Marketing Manager, you will analyze performance metrics, optimize campaigns, and produce clear, on-brand content. A Bachelor's degree and 5 years in communications or content writing are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years in communications or content writing.
  • Strong independent work capabilities and teamwork; multi-project management.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and grammar/attention to detail; AP Style preferred.
  • Experience with MailChimp, Bitly, and other marketing tools.
  • Familiarity with website CMS and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the planning, development, and execution of email campaigns, newsletters, and digital communications.
  • Curating and transforming complex information into engaging content for diverse audiences.
  • Maintaining and scheduling email campaigns for timely delivery and engagement.

  • Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on digital content performance metrics.

About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Corporate Communications & Experience Department. In this role, you will serve as the primary lead for managing various digital communication channels aimed at engaging our community, patients, and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include overseeing email marketing campaigns, e-newsletters, SMS outreach, phone call campaigns, and managing content for our public and secure websites. You will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop and execute strategic campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and optimize content to maximize outreach and engagement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the organization’s mission by creating compelling digital content that informs, educates, and inspires our audience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or a related field. A minimum of five years of experience in communications or content writing is required, demonstrating a proven track record of managing digital content and campaigns. Strong independent work capabilities, excellent team collaboration skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously are essential. Candidates should possess exceptional analytical skills, strategic planning abilities, and a keen eye for grammar and detail. Knowledge of AP Style writing is preferred. Experience with digital platforms such as MailChimp, Bitly, and other marketing tools is a plus, along with familiarity with website content management systems and analytics tools.
