Job summary

Corning is seeking a skilled professional to design, develop, and implement digital solutions across manufacturing plants. You will leverage data analytics, data-driven controls, and modern programming to advance process capability and cost reduction.

You will work with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to deliver transformative projects, share knowledge, and document findings. This role requires strong programming and analytics skills and a passion for manufacturing innovation.

Qualifications

• BS in CS/CE/EE required.
• 5+ years manufacturing automation/optimization experience.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Experience with .NET, Flask, IIS, Visual Studio, Git.
• SSRS, SQL, PowerBI experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement solutions for manufacturing with data analytics and controls.
• Identify process control optimization opportunities and write proposals.
• Collaborate with SMEs to analyze manufacturing processes.
• Use statistics to design for process capability.
• Lead cross-disciplinary projects for digital transformation.
• Transfer new control tech to manufacturing and train staff.
• Document findings in reports and specs; generate IP.
