Job summary

Daikin Applied, the world’s largest HVAC company, is seeking a Digital M&A Senior Manager in Plymouth, MN. Hybrid work arrangement. You will lead and optimize digital activities for due diligence and post-transaction phases of Americas acquisitions and partnerships.

Collaborate with Corporate Development, IT, and business leads to drive growth, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure successful assessment, integration, and value realization across digital work streams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8 years of related M&A project experience.
• Experience in IT org with multiple functional areas (infrastructure, applications).
• Program management experience with multiple simultaneous projects.
• Ability to operate in uncertainty and draft plans with assumptions.
• Experience executing due diligence, integration and separation across digital work streams (infrastructure, security, data, applications).
• Strong business process and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration with digital and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Digital Due Diligence assessing target digital environments (infrastructure, security, data, applications).
• Synthesize findings and recommendations with cross-functional input and present to senior leadership.
• Lead post-close activities; build and execute digital integration/separation plans across infrastructure, applications, security, and business systems.
• Partner with Daikin and target businesses, functional orgs, and stakeholders throughout the M&A process.
• Measure value realization and track digital synergies and KPIs post-close.
• Develop the Digital M&A Playbook with standardized methodologies and templates.
• Institutionalize best practices and refine governance and tools.
