Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a Digital M&A Senior Manager to lead and optimize digital activities for due diligence and post-transaction phases of acquisitions, separations, and partnerships. You will work with Corporate Development and business teams, collaborating with digital leadership to advance growth and ensure successful assessment and execution of opportunities.

The role is hybrid in Plymouth, MN, reporting to senior leadership and requiring strong program management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, CS, or related field.
• 8 years of M&A project experience.
• Experience in an IT organization with multiple functional areas.
• Program management experience with multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to define assumptions and plans under uncertainty.
• Proven due diligence, integration and separation execution.
• Strong business process and strategic analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration with digital and business leaders.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Digital Due Diligence – oversee diligence in target environments (infrastructure, security, data, apps).
• Synthesize findings and recommendations with cross-functional input and risk assessments.
• Lead post-close activities – manage integration and separation plans from close to scope completion.
• Partner with Daikin and target organizations across sales, service, finance, HR, etc.
• Measure and realize value – track digital synergies and KPIs post-close.
• Develop the Digital M&A Playbook – create templates and repeatable processes.
