Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 2 years’ work experience in a desktop/mobile support, technical training, or helpdesk role.
• Preferred: Undergraduate degree or IT-related certification; substitutions may be considered by BBNA and will waive non-essential requirements to fit organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical training and support to digital library staff within communities within region.
• Working with the Economic Development Program Manager and BBNA IT Dept. to identify training needs, diagnose issues, perform troubleshooting, and recommend new technologies.
• Providing technical training and support to clients with Windows-based computer usage, Apple/Android device usage and troubleshooting, with guidance from the Economic Development Program Manager or Planning Development Department Director and IT staff.
• Updating and maintaining portable Windows-based laptops with various virtual meeting platforms for training events.
• Setting up, configuring, and supporting off-site workstations for training, education, and employment search use.
