Marion Cross School is excited to announce an opening for a 0.8 FTE Digital Learning Specialist starting in August 2026. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated educator who:

The Digital Learning Specialist will support teachers in designing engaging, technology‑rich learning experiences, coach staff in effective use of digital tools, promote safe and responsible digital citizenship, support school and district technology initiatives, and contribute to a shared vision for meaningful technology integration.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement digital learning experiences with varied formative and summative assessments.
  • Model and promote use of adaptive and assistive technologies to personalize and differentiate activities.
  • Collaborate with educators to develop student digital portfolio processes and procedures.
  • Promote student reflection using collaborative tools.
  • Deepen knowledge of digital tools and pedagogy; model, promote, and facilitate experiences that advance learner competency.
  • Lead professional learning opportunities and evaluate impact on instruction.
  • Model responsible, safe, ethical digital citizenship practices.
  • Participate in strategic planning for technology integration at district and school levels.
  • Administer user accounts, support IT systems, and provide staff training on hardware/software.
  • Coordinate educational and technical needs with administration.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Certified in NH as a Digital Learning Specialist (0350) or VT Teacher License with Educational Technology Endorsement.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and technology integration skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in personal computer use and standard software applications.
