Qualifications

• Previous experience or internship experience in digital operations, label operations, music distribution, metadata, video operations, or a related area within the music industry preferred.
• Strong interest in digital music distribution and the operational processes involved in releasing and maintaining music across digital platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when working with metadata, spreadsheets, datasets, and digital assets.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Basic understanding of music metadata, including UPCs, ISRCs, artist information, contributor credits, and release metadata preferred.
• Familiarity with YouTube, VEVO, Airtable, DSPs, and digital distribution platforms preferred.
• Experience with OpenPlay, YouTube CMS, FUGA, or similar content and metadata management systems is a plus.
• Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills and comfort working with data.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain digital products in OpenPlay, including release and track metadata, artist information, contributor credits, identifier codes, lyrics, territories, artwork, audio, and other required assets.
• Set up, deliver, and maintain music videos, visualizers, and other video content on YouTube and VEVO, including preparing and reviewing metadata and assets against platform requirements, monitoring deliveries, and troubleshooting rejections or errors.
• Conduct ongoing catalog audits and quality-control checks on metadata, assets, and video content to support cleanup and correction projects across OpenPlay and other internal systems.
• Maintain accurate internal trackers and documentation of completed work, releases, videos, lyrics, catalog maintenance, and outstanding operational issues.
• Support the Digital Label Operations team with day-to-day requests, catalog migrations, metadata initiatives, platform-related projects, and other special projects as needed.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of internal processes, SOPs, and best-practice documentation.
• Develop and maintain familiarity with Reservoir's distribution partners, DSP requirements, metadata standards, and digital delivery workflows, staying informed of evolving industry requirements and best practices.
