Job summary

Fuze Health in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Associate Legal Counsel to navigate healthcare regulatory law and commercial contracting for domestic operations. You will advise business partners on regulatory considerations, draft and negotiate agreements, and balance legal risk with business goals in a fast-paced digital health environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years as an attorney, a JD, and in-house or healthcare experience, with strong negotiation, risk assessment, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an attorney in the digital health, life sciences or healthcare industries.
• Familiarity with regulatory matters relevant to a digital health provider.
• Experience with reimbursement, licensure and credentialing is an asset.
• Previous in-house experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate agreements using playbooks and clause libraries.
• Negotiate and document SLAs, data handling, retention, audit rights, and termination/transition.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure terms are favorable and operationally-minded.
• Maintain and improve templates, clause libraries, and playbooks to reduce cycle time.
• Advise internal partners on healthcare regulatory and privacy matters.
