Job summary

Grassroots Analytics in Washington, DC is seeking a Digital Strategist to lead fundraising campaigns for peer‑to‑peer and full‑service programs within our Digital Lab. You will craft strategy across text, email, digital ads and emerging channels while coordinating with a team of collaborators to maximize donor growth and dollars raised.

The role emphasizes data-driven content, QA across client work, and proactive client communication.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years or one election cycle in digital fundraising.
• Experience translating social, advocacy, or marketing skills to email/text fundraising.
• Strong writing across styles for digital fundraising.
• Experience with CRMs, SMS platforms, and donation tools.
• Data analysis, revenue tracking and projections; HTML knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy and execution across channels including text, email, and digital ads.
• Recommend content ideas to maximize dollars raised and donors acquired.
• Collaborate with the digital team to optimize client returns and growth.
• Write compelling fundraising content per best practices.
• Ensure QA across full-service and peer-to-peer outputs.
• Delegate and coordinate between full-service and peer-to-peer work.
• Maintain testing and tracking procedures to validate assumptions.
• Leverage GA’s database to grow lists and optimize campaigns.
• Lead client communication and build proactive relationships.
• Create, segment, and send digital fundraising content across platforms.
• Establish reporting and troubleshooting processes.
