Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient with internet at user level.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional branch customer service and resolve routine problems promptly.
• Educate customers with shoulder-to-shoulder digital demonstrations and identify self-service opportunities.
• Engage in lobby management, greeting customers and addressing needs.
• Accurately balance and process transactions following Bank Policy.
• Log and escalate account issues; resolve customer complaints in the system.
• Transition sales opportunities and introduce the appropriate banking partner.
• Support branch operations (cash ordering, vault, ATM, wire transfers).
• Process account maintenance and AML/KYC related tasks.
• Adhere to compliance/risk controls and promote the M&T Bank brand.
• Support internal and external audits as applicable.
• Various related duties as assigned.
