Job summary

CDW Technologies, LLC is seeking a Consulting Solution Architect to drive Digital Experience solutions for state, local, and national customers. You will lead customer conversations, shape architecture, and align offerings with long-term goals while collaborating across delivery, sales, and leadership teams.

The role requires 8+ years in pre-sales or consulting and deep expertise in unified communications with hands-on knowledge of Teams and Webex. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience or 12+ years of work experience.
• 8+ years in technical pre-sales, consulting, or post-sale delivery roles.
• Deep technical expertise in Digital Experience and unified communications.
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Webex, calling, and related Digital Experience solutions.
• Ability to write statements of work and define solution scope.
• Sales or presales background with strong customer-facing communication skills.
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Excellent customer engagement, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to design and communicate complex technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel to customer locations up to 25%.
• Prior CDW experience or strong knowledge of how CDW operates, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop assessment and service solutions including architecture, optimizations, health checks, deployment services, and advisory services.
• Lead customer-facing conversations for Digital Experience solutions and provide deep technical guidance across unified communications, Microsoft Teams, Webex, calling, and related solutions.
• Collaborate with customers, delivery teams, sellers, and sales leaders to provide consultative guidance, develop sales strategies, and support opportunities.
• Assess customer needs and translate them into clear solution scope, assumptions, deliverables, and statements of work (SOWs).
• Analyze technical and competitive considerations to align solutions with customer long-term goals.
• Maintain strategic relationships with customers, sales, delivery leadership, and key strategic partners.
• Support state and local customer opportunities, including RFP and contract-related requirements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert across multiple product and solution families.
• Contribute to marketing-approved thought leadership including LinkedIn, blogs, and online publications.
• Drive technical enablement, outreach, coaching, and mentoring initiatives for Solution Architects and sellers.
