Job summary

PCs for People is seeking a full-time ITAD Driver / Warehouse Associate in Virginia. The role blends driving and warehouse duties, with the majority on the road loading/unloading equipment and supporting warehouse operations.

The associate will follow DOT regulations to keep themselves and others safe while representing the nonprofit at client sites. The position requires lifting up to 75 lbs, strong communication, and the ability to work self-directed in a mission-driven environment focused on

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license (no CDL) with a clean 3 year driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT medical exam, pre-employment drug screen, and follow post accident screening requirements.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently, and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.
• Self-directed, self-motivated, and a strong analytical thinker.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 20'–26' box truck (no CDL) to safely pick up and deliver computer equipment.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and follow DOT safety requirements.
• Load/palletize equipment on-site when loading/unloading.
• Sort equipment on site to ease warehouse processing.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel, and supplies; document transfers at client sites.
• Record inventory accurately in the CRM and assist with warehouse tasks.
• Support bulk order fulfillment and ensure safe handling of data-containing devices.
• Follow NAID procedures and safety standards; participate in safety checks and audits.
