Job summary

PCs for People is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform receive, input, sort, load and unload of products, and to organize and maintain inventory, pack and ship orders.

The role requires attention to detail to inspect for defects, report damages, and ensure accurate stock levels. The ideal candidate is hardworking, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse.

About The Role

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for various warehouse activities including receive, input, sort, load, and unload products. You will organize and maintain inventory, and process, pack, and ship orders. Keen attention to detail is a must, as you will be inspecting products for defects and reporting damages as needed. A successful Warehouse Associate is hard-working, organized and detail-oriented. You should be able to keep track of incoming and outgoing stock to ensure inventory levels remain steady.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Support
  • Maintaining supplies, personal protective equipment, tools, and equipment to ensure compliance and safety
  • Maximizing production floor space and efficiency
  • Meeting productivity goals
  • Sorting, cleaning and organizing donation inventory
  • Moving inventory with pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Sort donations by category
  • Maintain clean and organized work space
Compliance
  • Recording inventory of incoming equipment
  • Receiving, storing, moving, and packing outgoing inventory
  • Back-up scanning serial numbers into spreadsheets
  • Back-up print PIDs
  • Back-up add inventory into CRM
  • Transfer hard drives to Computer Technician
Community Engagement
  • Representing PCs for People favorably when interacting with donors
  • Provide support to clients through our mission market
  • Other duties as requested
Requirements

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a workstation or service counter
  • Ability to frequently lift or move items up to 25 pounds, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent use of computer, phone, and other office equipment
  • Capability to communicate clearly in person, by phone, and over digital platforms
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
  • Capability to work in various indoor non temperature controlled environments
  • Manual dexterity to handle tools, and small components
  • Extended periods of walking or standing throughout the workday
  • Visual acuity to read labels and perform detailed tasks
  • Willingness to adhere to physical safety protocols

The final base salary offer for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s specific geographic location, relevant skills, specialized experience, and education or certifications.
