Qualifications

• BS + 8 years of exp in related STEM field; MS + 6 years of exp.
• Significant direct experience in digital and VHDL engineering.
• Must have an active Secret Clearance.
• Candidate must have excellent written and communication skills.
• Experience with VHDL design and verification.
• Experience with DoD communications systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a sub-department of 12-15 digital/VHDL engineers and managers.
• Coordinate staffing, recruiting, training, and performance reviews.
• Manage compensation, career progression, and promotions.
• Develop and refine digital engineering processes and tools.
• Contribute ~80% on programs involving communications systems within FNS/ACN OU.
• Foster an inclusive workplace and balance work-life.
