CDW is seeking a Digital Employee Experience Engineer to identify, analyze, and resolve endpoint performance issues at scale. The role focuses on outcome-based service improvement using observability, automation, and proactive remediation to raise DEX scores.

You will analyze data across endpoints and networks, design monitoring and health scoring, and lead remediation efforts with engineering teams. This position offers a contract through 2026 with potential conversion to FTE.

We're seeking a results-driven Digital Employee Experience (DEX) Engineer to help improve the technology experience of employees by identifying, analyzing, and resolving endpoint performance issues at scale. This role is focused on outcome-based service improvement, leveraging observability, automation, and proactive remediation to drive measurable gains in Digital Employee Experience (DEX) scores.

What You'll Do
  • Analyze DEX platform data to identify trends impacting employee technology experience
  • Investigate endpoint, application, network, and infrastructure issues affecting performance
  • Design and implement monitoring, health scoring, alerting, and observability solutions
  • Build automation and remediation workflows that reduce recurring issues and manual effort
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts and partner with engineering teams on long-term solutions
  • Prioritize work using employee experience metrics, service indicators, and business impact
  • Measure improvement outcomes and drive continuous service reliability initiatives
  • Contribute to AI-enabled workflows, API integrations, and automation orchestration efforts
  • Mentor junior engineers and support cross-functional improvement initiatives
Required Experience
  • Experience with Digital Employee Experience (DEX) platforms such as Lakeside SysTrack, Nexthink Infinity, ControlUp ONE, Riverbed Aternity, Ivanti Neurons DEX, HP Workplace Experience Platform (WXP), 1E Platform (Tachyon) , ServiceNow DEX, NinjaOne, Nanoheal, Omnissa (formerly Workspace One)
  • Strong background in endpoint management, endpoint performance, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to analyze and diagnose issues across endpoints, applications, networks, and supporting technologies
  • Experience developing or implementing automation and remediation solutions
  • Hands‑on experience with observability, monitoring, and service reliability practices
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills across multiple technology domains
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience defining and measuring XLAs, SLOs, or service health indicators
  • Familiarity with API integrations, automation orchestration, and AI-enabled workflows
  • Understanding of capacity planning, resilience, and recovery analysis
  • ITIL Foundation or relevant cloud, infrastructure, automation, or reliability certification
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3-5+ years of engineering experience in automation, observability, service reliability, endpoint management, or digital workplace technologies
