Job summary

Assurance Technology Corporation seeks a mid-career Digital Design Engineer to lead development of advanced, high-speed mixed-signal and FPGA-based electronics for space and airborne platforms. You will drive architecture from concept through production and deployment.

Responsibilities span system design, HDL development, verification, and mentoring, with collaboration across hardware, firmware, software teams to deliver robust sensing and processing platforms.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in digital hardware design with high-speed/mixed-signal exposure.
• Experience with FPGA-based systems, HDL development, simulation, synthesis, hardware bring-up.
• Involvement with high-speed interfaces and memory subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital and mixed-signal system architecture and definition to balance performance, reliability, power, and environment.
• Design, simulate, and verify high-speed digital/mixed-signal circuits and interfaces.
• Develop FPGA designs for real-time DSP, data movement, and control functions.
• Perform signal, power integrity and timing analysis for high-speed designs.
• Collaborate across hardware, firmware, systems, RF, and software teams.
