Job summary

ATC is a mid-career Digital Design Engineer role focusing on digital FPGA-based electronics for space and airborne platforms. You will architect, design, and implement digital/mixed-signal systems, guiding concepts through deployment.

You will work with high-speed data converters, memories, and FPGAs, delivering mission-critical sensing platforms and collaborating across hardware, firmware, and software teams.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of digital hardware design experience with high-speed/mixed-signal systems.
• Proven FPGA design experience including HDL development, simulation, synthesis, bring-up.
• Experience with signal integrity and power integrity analysis at board/system level.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to digital and mixed-signal system architecture and definition.
• Design, simulate, and verify high-speed digital/mixed-signal circuits and interfaces.
• Develop and implement FPGA designs for real-time DSP, data movement, and control.
• Perform timing, signal integrity, and power integrity analysis for board designs.
• Define and manage power budgets for radiation-tolerant, mission-critical environments.
• Collaborate with systems, electrical, RF, mechanical, thermal, software, and firmware teams.
• Support designs through manufacturing, integration, test, and operation; guide design refinements.
• Provide mentorship and participate in design reviews and best-practice development.
