St. Hope Healthcare in Bellaire, TX seeks a Dental Billing Specialist to manage the full billing cycle within a fully digital practice.

You will submit claims, post payments, and follow up on denials while ensuring HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information. Ideal candidates have at least one year of dental billing/coding experience, familiarity with CDT coding and EHR systems (eClinicalWorks preferred), and strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills.

Qualificações

• Dental billing and coding knowledge.
• Experience navigating EHR systems; familiarity with eClinicalWorks preferred.
• Solid CDT coding knowledge and understanding of insurance claim forms.
• Experience with PPO, Medicaid, Medicare dental claims.
• Strong keyboard skills (≥35 wpm).
• Ability to stay organized under interruptions and stress.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the full dental billing cycle, including claim creation, submission, payment posting, and denial management.
• Verify patient dental insurance eligibility and coverage prior to appointments.
• Translate dental treatments into CDT codes and process claims.
• Work within the eClinicalWorks EHR system with high accuracy.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and file structured appeals for denials.
• Generate and distribute patient statements and handle inquiries about costs.
• Perform daily payment reconciliations and month-end reporting.
