St. Hope Healthcare is seeking a Dental Billing Specialist to manage the revenue cycle for our fully digital practice. You will handle claim creation, submission, payment posting, and denial management within our EHR environment.

You will verify patient insurance eligibility, translate procedures into CDT codes, and process claims to ensure timely reimbursement. Strong communication skills and HIPAA compliance are essential for success.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year minimum dental billing or coding experience.
• Proficient navigation of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems; experience with eClinicalWorks preferred.
• Solid knowledge of CDT coding, dental terminology and insurance claim forms.
• Experience handling commercial PPO, Medicaid, and Medicare dental claims.
• Good keyboard skills (approx. 35 wpm).
• Ability to work under frequent interruptions and maintain composure.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

Aufgaben

• Manage the full dental billing cycle: claim creation, submission, posting, and denial management.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage prior to appointments.
• Translate dental treatments into CDT codes and process claims in line with standards.
• Operate primarily within the eClinicalWorks EHR with high accuracy.
• Follow up on unpaid claims, file appeals for denials, resolve billing discrepancies with carriers.
• Generate and distribute patient statements; serve as primary contact for out‑of‑pocket inquiries.
• Perform daily payment reconciliations and month‑end reporting tasks.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient information at all times.
• Communicate with clients/caregivers about financial responsibilities and payment options.
