Qualifications

• Two years experience in billing required; dental office billing/collections preferred.
• Knowledge of CDT codes and related billing systems.
• Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and/or runs patient and third-party billing, collections and related reports.
• Submit and reconcile invoices for patient ancillary services.
• Track and reconcile dental grant funds and coordinate grant-related referrals.
• Process prior authorizations for all dental patients before provider visit.
• Ensure compliance with health care billing practices and center policies.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and meetings.
• Utilize computer systems and office equipment to handle billing tasks.
• Respond to inquiries concerning patient accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Center.
