Job summary

Planet Depos in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Full-time Digital Court Reporter to set up audio/video equipment, record depositions, and log speaker identifications.

You will swear in deponents, maintain professional demeanor, monitor audio levels, and assist clients with A/V issues in person or remotely.

2- or 4-year degree preferred; ability to lift 50 lbs; reliable transportation; 8:00am-5:00pm; EOE.

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of the legal industry preferred.
• Comfort with audio/video technologies and digital recording.
• Professional appearance and client interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up audio/video equipment quickly and professionally.
• Position microphones for optimal audio capture.
• Monitor and mix multiple audio tracks during depositions.
• Set white balance and exposure for varied environments.
• Maintain proper video framing consistent with legal standards.
• Log key events and spellings during proceedings.
• Swear in deponents and capture testimony under oath.
• Remain calm, neutral, and professional before, during, and after proceedings.
