Job summary

Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Nebraska, seeks a full-time Digital Content Specialist to support the Strategic Communications team by creating accurate and engaging content that advances the college’s mission and brand.

You will produce content for the College website, print publications, news releases, media kits, social media channels, email campaigns, and employee communications, ensuring consistent messaging across audiences.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in communication or media arts.
• Two years or more of marketing, public/media relations or communications experience preferred.
• Experience creating social media content for businesses or organizations.
• Experience in using content management systems (CMS).

Responsibilities

• Support the Strategic Communications department by gathering information and creating accurate, engaging content.
• Tell the Northeast story through written, visual and multimedia content across multiple channels.
• Create content for the College website, print publications, news releases, media kits, social media, email marketing and employee communications.
• Ensure consistent, brand-aligned messaging and editorial standards across College communications.
• Adapt content for different audiences and channels to support recruitment, employee communications and community engagement.
• Collaborate with campus partners to ensure accuracy and audience-centered materials.
