Job summary

American Song Archives in Tulsa, OK seeks a Communications Coordinator to oversee digital communications, storytelling, and audience engagement for the Woody Guthrie Center and Bob Dylan Center. The role is full-time with benefits and reports to the Senior Digital Content Strategist.

You will manage email marketing, social media, website updates, and promotions, shaping the center's public presence and supporting events and educational programs.

Qualifications

• B.A. with relevant concentration.
• Minimum of 2 years in professional communications/marketing.
• Proven success in integrated marketing and communications strategies.
• Strong knowledge of social media and content strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Editing, copywriting, brainstorming ideas, etc.
• Executing email marketing deliverables using Wordfly, including newsletters.
• Social posting and moderation across platforms.
• Assist with website updates in WordPress and Webflow.
• Maintain onsite signage to promote events, merch, memberships.
• Press coordination with internal and agency stakeholders.
• Coordinate signage, space booking, insurance for events.
• Review materials created by team for promotions.
• Manage promotional events and campaigns.
• Develop and manage the communications strategy.
• Strategize to improve brand image and online presence.
• Monitor ROI and performance metrics across campaigns.
